ELIZABETHTOWN –Midway defeated East Bladen 3-0 Monday night in nonconference volleyball action by set scores of 25-14, 25-21 and 25-13.
Freshman Acee Campbell slammed in 9 kills, 2 blocks, 2 service points and had a dig for East. Junior Katie Evans knocked in 7 service points, 2 blocks and had a dig. Junior Kayleigh Raynor drilled in 5 kills, an ace and 3 service points.
Junior Cheylee Mathis hammered in 4 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks and a service point for the Lady Eagles. Junior Sara Gargala pounded in 4 service points, a kill and a block.
Senior Cybil Campbell racked up 3 service points and 2 kills. Senior Lorna Mendell knocked in a kill and a block.
The Lady Eagles, now 3-6 overall, will resume Three Rivers Conference play at West Bladen on Thursday.
