Midway defeated visiting East Bladen 3-0 Thursday night in their Four County Conference volleyball opener by game scores of 25-15, 25-12 and 25-13.

Junior Lexie Mendell slammed in 4 kills, a block and a service point to go with one dig for East. Senior Claire Campbell tallied 4 service points, 2 kills and an assist.
Senior Abby Ward contributed 2 digs, 2 service points and a kill for the visitors, and sophomore Hannah DeVane added a kill and a service point. Junior Anna Grace Long had one kill.
The Lady Eagles are now 3-4 overall.
