DUNN – East Bladen battled Southeastern Athletic Conference co-leader Midway for 5 sets Thursday night, but the Lady Raiders took the final set and escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Lady Eagles.
“We played some good volleyball,” said East Bladen Coach Jordan Raynor. The Lady Eagles are now 4-6 in league play and 6-12 overall and will travel to Red Springs Monday for a make-up game.
Midway posted a 2-0 victory in the junior varsity game.
