SPIVEYS CORNER – Four County Conference leader Midway defeated West Bladen 3-0 Tuesday in volleyball action by set scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-16.
Senior Morgan Schumacher pounded in 6 kills, 2 aces and 2 blocks to lead the Lady Knights. Senior Kassidy Anderson knocked in 4 kills, an ace and 2 service points.
West Bladen sophmore Raegan Davis filled up the stat sheet with 4 kills, an ace, a service point, a block and a block assist. Senior Kathryn Schultz slammed in 4 kills, a block, and a block assist.
Seniors Kaylee Stevens and Jenna Dove drilled in one ace each for the Lady Knights. Sophmore Patience Parker fired in a kill, and senior Logan Autry added one service point.
West Bladen will host county rival East Bladen Thursday at 4:30.
