ELIZABETHTOWN – Pender defeated East Bladen 3-0 Tuesday night in Four County Conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-13, 25-17 and 25-14.
Senior Anna Grace Long lit up the scoreboard with 15 service points, a block and 2 aces for the Lady Eagles. Senior Lexie Mendell loaded up the stat sheet with 5 blocks, 3 kills and 3 service points.
Junior Shardajah Brown fired in 11 service points and 2 aces for East Bladen. Teammate Jozee Strickland tallied 7 service points, and sophmore Ashley Hardin finished with 4 service points, 2 blocks and a kill.
Junior Hannah Devane collected 4 service points, an ace and a kill for the Lady Eagles. Junior Kaley Smith added 2 service points, and senior Alexa Hernandez had one service point.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Heide Trask Thursday at 4:30.
