TABOR CITY – South Columbus pulled away in the final set to close out a 3-1 Three Rivers Conference volleyball victory over East Bladen Tuesday night by set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 27-25 and 25-6,

Senior Cheylee Mathis hammered in 3 kills, 4 blocks, had 4 digs and connected on 7 of 8 service attempts for the Lady Eagles. Seniors Kayleigh Raynor and Katie Evans knocked in all of their service attempts. Evans was 11-11 on serves and had 2 digs. Raynor swatted in 3 kills, was 10-10 serving and had a dig.

Sophomore Acee Campbell fired in 13 of her 14 serving attempts and contributed 5 digs, 2 blocks, an ace and a kill for East. Senior Sara Gargala smacked in 2 blocks, a kill and had 2 digs. Sophomore Karli Priest came up with 4 digs.

Junior Alexus Mitchell dropped in 8 of her 9 service attempts and had 2 digs for the Lady Eagles. Sophomore AnnaGrey Heustess totaled one block and one dig, and sophomore Emma Turbeville added 2 digs.

East Bladen, now 2-3 overall, will host Red Springs Thursday at 4:30.
