DUBLIN – South Columbus defeated West Bladen 3-0 Wednesday in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by game scores of 25-19, 25-17 and 25-12.
Junior Raegan Davis racked up 3 kills, 3 service points, 2 aces and a solo block for the Lady Knights. Senior Elizabeth Allbright slammed in 4 kills, 3 aces and 2 service points. Senior Patience Parker hammered in 5 kills and a solo block.
Junior Caroline Davis led the Lady Knight defense with 22 digs. Senior Alise Pait knocked in 2 kills, and sophmore Lexie Corrothers hammered in an ace and a kill.
Seniors Mikayla Winebarger and Brinkley Collier contributed 2 service points each.
“Both teams – the varsity and jayvee – played extremely hard and never gave up,” said West Bladen Coach Gaye Davis. “I am excited for and proud of their performance.”
West Bladen will host Clinton Monday in a non-conference match at 4:30.
