ROWLAND – South Robeson defeated West Bladen 3-1 Thursday night in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by game scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-14 and 25-23.
Junior Raegan Davis drilled in 10 aces, 5 kills and 2 service points to lead the Lady Knights. Senior Patience Parker filled up the stat sheet with 3 blocks, 3 digs, a kill and an ace. Senior Mikayla Winebarger racked up 4 service points and a kill.
Senior Alise Pait slammed in 3 kills, an ace and 2 service points for West. Senior Madison Collins contributed 2 service points and a kill.
Junior Caroline Davis, senior Elizabeth Allbright and sophmore Lexie Corrothers tallied one service point and one kill each, and junior Callie Lewis smashed in a kill.
“The girls played extremely well,” said West Bladen Coach Gaye Davis. “Giving their all is all I can ask for.”
West Bladen will host Whiteville Tuesday at 4:30.
