RED SPRINGS – West Bladen completed their regular season with a winning record Thursday night as the Lady Knights defeated Red Springs 3-0 in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by set scores of 25-14, 25-23 and 25-17.

Senior Raegan Davis hammered in 10 kills, 7 aces, 3 service points, 2 solo blocks and had 7 assists and 3 digs to lead the Lady Knights. Junior Mikayla Meadows slammed in 8 kills, 2 aces, 2 service points and had one dig. Sophmore Shelby Pharr knocked in 6 kills, 2 aces, 4 service points and had 2 digs.

Senior Caroline Davis led the Lady Knight defense with 15 digs. Junior Jordan Benson delivered 7 assists, 3 service points, 2 aces and 2 digs. Sophmore Sidnee Walters drilled in 5 service points, 2 aces and 5 digs.

Junior Tatiana Hunt collected 6 digs. Junior Lexie Corrothers spiked in 3 kills and 2 aces. Senior Callie Lewis contributed a service point, an ace and an assist. Senior Alana King totaled 2 digs, and Amelia Brisson added a service point.

“Coach Kaitlyn Sykes and I are super proud of the girls,” said Lady Knight Gaye Davis. “They have worked really hard and have improved so much. There are things we need to work on in the off-season, but right now we are just waiting to hear about the playoffs.”

The Lady Knights improved to 10-8 in the TRC and 11-9 overall.
