ROSE HILL – West Bladen’s Lady Knights dropped the first set Tuesday night then bounced back to win the next 3 sets and claim a 3-1 Four County Conference volleyball victory over Union by set scores of 21-25, 25-10, 25-18 and 25-16.

Sophmore Raegan Davis loaded the stat sheet with 6 kills, 5 aces, 4 service points and a block assist for West Bladen. Senior Logan Autry fired in 7 aces 6 service points and 3 kills.

Senior Kathryn Schultz hammered in 6 aces, 4 kills, 2 service points and a block assist for the Lady Knights. Senior Kassidy Anderson knocked in 7 kills and an ace. Senior Morgan Schumacher pounded in 6 kills.

Senior Jenna Dove drilled in 5 aces and a service point for West, and teammate Patience Parker slammed in 4 aces, a kill and 2 service points.

“The girls are really coming together and playing together,” said Lady Knight Coach Gaye Davis.

West Bladen improved to 4-4 in conference play and 8-6 overall. There was no jayvee match Tuesday because Union doesn’t have a jayvee team.

The Lady Knights will travel to Wallace-Rose Hill Thursday for a 4:30 match.
