DUBLIN – West Bladen’s Lady Knights claimed their first volleyball victory of the season Thursday with a 3-0 Three Rivers Conference victory over West Columbus by set scores of 25-23, 25-13 and 25-23.
Junior Raegan Davis lit up the scoreboard for the Lady Knights by firing in 7 aces, 6 kills, 2 blocks and 2 service points. Sophmore Lexie Corrothers blasted in 5 kills, an ace and 3 service points.
Senior Alise Pait slammed in 5 kills and 3 service points for West Bladen. Senior Patience Parker racked up 3 aces, 3 service points and 2 kills.
Senior Elizabeth Allbright hammered in 3 kills, 3 aces and 2 service points for the winners. Senior Mikayla Winebarger pounded in 4 kills and an ace.
“The girls played great,” said Lady Knight Coach Gaye Davis. “It felt great getting that first conference win.”
The Lady Knights travel to St. Pauls Tuesday at 4:30.
