Walk to the Cross is a community-wide program presented by Healthy Robeson and Healthy Bladen. From March 2nd until April 14th, or everyday for 40 days, participants will walk, run, or bike the 45 miles that Jesus traveled from Nazareth to Jerusalem. This can be done individually, or as a group effort!
Bladen County Health and Human Services Agency shared the following information on social media:
• If a person can do 65 miles – go for it!
• Exercise as a group. For example, if there are five people in a group, each person is responsible for walking 13 miles during the 40 days, and as a group, they have completed the 65 miles.
• For a person who has not been active, the goal is to do something every day for 40 days. Walk a block at work, walk around the house, or ride the bike with the kids. However you choose to stay active, just keep moving.
