The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office announced arrests and persons wanted by the Narcotics Unit on Wednesday morning. Individuals involved with heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and/or other controlled substances have been arrested or are wanted by the Sheriff’s office. Not only are there drug related charges in this report, but some of those wanted are charged with selling controlled substances within 1,000 Feet of a School according to the Sheriff’s office.
There has been no decline in the number of narcotics related arrests for the sale of illegal drugs in the county according to Bladen County Sheriff Jim McVicker.
Sheriff McVicker said, “My Narcotics Unit continues to seek out and arrest those who are selling drugs in the county,”
He added, “We are doing our best to combat the opioid epidemic at its root source as well as partnering with other organizations to help those who are addicted and trying to get help for their addiction. We know that we will never be able to eradicate drug dealers but we are making an exerted effort to make it harder for them to sell their poison.”
Twisted Hickory Road, Marsh Road, both outlying areas of Bladenboro were the target of narcotics agents according to Sheriff McVicker. Agents conducted multiple undercover controlled substances purchases from the defendant, Thomas J. Kinlaw, 32, of Lumberton, NC according to the press release leading to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office serving arrest warrants on the defendant, Thomas Kinlaw.
Kinlaw’s bond was set at $75,000.00 and his charges are as follows:
Two individuals were charged with narcotics related offenses according to the press release. A traffic stop conducted by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit in the area of Broad Street West and Owen Hill Road outside of Elizabethtown lead to following two arrests with the charges listed below.

Trista Desselle, (No Photograph Available) 35 from Wilmington, DE was cited and released according to the press release with charges of 1 count of Possession of Marijuana, 1 count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The following individuals are wanted by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office on Outstanding Warrants for Arrest stemming from controlled purchases of narcotics conducted by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit.

David Jackson, 33 (No Photograph Available) located in Bladenboro, NC, born on 10/23/1985 has the following outstanding charges. 1 count of Sell Marijuana, 1 count of Deliver Marijuana, 1 count of Manufacturing Marijuana, 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana, 1 count of Selling Controlled Substances Within 1,000 Feet of a School, 1 count of Sell/Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substances, 1 count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substances, 1 count of Selling Controlled Substances Within 1,000 Feet of a School.
