The Bladenboro Town Board met on Monday night and voted to approve replacing a missing seat on a see-saw and painting the three remaining seats.
Town Administrator John O’Daniel said, “Our parks are something we are trying to focus on.”
O’Daniel said town staff are attempting to perform some general maintenance work at Wateree Park. The park hosts a set of “teeter totters” which features two animal-shaped seats and two regular shaped seats. O’Daniel said it will cost $290 to paint the pair of animal-shaped seats and $65 to paint the regular seat and $166 to replace the missing seat.
In other business, the board held a closed session for personnel matters and no action was taken on the matter.
