A need in Flint, Michigan has been filled by Bladen County’s local radio station, WBLA 1440 AM, da Branch radio station and local citizens, according to Mr. Arthur Bullock. On Friday, March 19, 2016 the local Christian station, shipped 450 cases of drinking water to Flint, Michigan with the assistance of local community members.
According to Bullock, the idea was brought forward by the morning show announcer on WBLA, Bishop Joe T. Lowery, Jr. WBLA’s directors and staff applaud the community and send a thank you to all the contributors that made this a very successful endeavor, Bullock also stated.
