November 11th is a special day in America. A day to give thanks and honor the United States Veterans that have served and sacrificed for our country.
Wednesday there will be two ceremonies in the honor of Veterans. The first one will be held at the Bladen Community College Campus at 11 am. According to Dr. William Findt, the college’s President, the event has been organized by veterans on staff at the local college.
The next ceremony to attend on Wednesday will be at the Bladenboro Historical Building at 2 pm. The Bladen County DAV Chapter will have a special occasion to honor Veterans. DAV Commander David Brown encourages everyone to attend.
