This past Thursday, March 3rd kicked of Bladen County Early Voting. A total of 761 Bladen County residents have cast their votes early according to the Bladen County Board of Elections.
The folks working the election sites say they hope next week will bring more people out to vote. The total at each site for each day is listed below.
Bladenboro had 53 voters come out on March 3rd, 41 on March 4th, and 17 on March 5th. Dublin brought in 41 voters on the 3rd, 37 on the 4th and 12 on the 5th. East Arcadia’s site saw 85 voters on the 3rd, 31 on the 4th and one (1) on the 5th.
The Bladen County Public Library in Elizabethtown had the highest turn out. On March 3rd a total of 211 voters cast their votes at the location and 194 on the 4th and 38 on the 5th.
