West Bladen Competes in Fairmont Track Meet

West Bladen High School LogoFAIRMONT – West Bladen’s boys and girls track teams competed in the Three Rivers Conference track meet at Fairmont Thursday.

Lady Knight senior Patience Parker won the girls 200 meter dash with a time of 28:32 seconds. The West Bladen girls 4×100 relay team finished in second place in their race.

Sophomore Tyre Boykin captured second place in the boys triple jump with a leap of 38 feet, 2 inches.  Senior Jonathan Robinson heaved the shot put 36 feet, 8 inches to take second place in his event.

Justin Best finished second in the boys 110 meter hurdles, and the Knight boys also posted second place finishes in the 4×200 and 4×100 meter relay events.

West Bladen will travel to West Columbus Thursday to compete against East Bladen, St. Pauls, South Columbus and West Columbus.
