West Bladen High School had plans to host a blood drive from 8:30 am until 3 pm on Thursday, January 13th. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the blood drive unfortunately will not take place as previously scheduled.

Due to staffing shortages, WBHS is operating virtually this week, January 10th through 14th. Dr. Peggy Hester, Principal at WBHS, stated “We will not host the blood drive as scheduled. We do not have a rescheduled date at this time.”

BladenOnline will update our readers when a new date is set for the blood drive. In case you missed it, there will be several other blood drives in the county in the coming weeks. On January 25th, Bladen Community College will host a blood drive from 10 am until 2 pm. On February 25th Lu Mil Vineyard will have a blood drive from 2 pm until 5 pm.
