Out of a tragedy came a golf tournament which proved to be a remembrance of Sue and Jim Schultz.
The Schultz couple were killed in a tragic accident a little over a year ago. The proceeds of the “Whack Smack It” golf tournament Friday at Vineyard Golf at White Lake will go to East Bladen and West Bladen Athletics and Elizabethtown Dixie Youth Baseball in memory of the Schultz couple.
The tournament filled up quickly with several teams on a waiting list … thus showing the love the Bladen County community had for the Schultz couple.
