The 2015 White Lake Spring Half Triathlon was held Saturday, May 2. The triathlon consisted of a 1 1/2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and a 13.1 mile run. The winning time, for the men, was 4:23:48 turned in by Nathan Smith of Raleigh. The winning time for the women was 4:38:08 turned in by Madeline McKeever of Providence, Rhode Island. A total of 167 athletes participated in this event which had it’s headquarters at the FFA camp on highway 53 in White Lake.
