A Classic Car Cruise-In will kick off the White Lake Water Festival tonight starting at 6:30 pm and will be followed by a Street Dance at Goldston’s Beach. Saturday the fun will start with a parade at 10 am followed by Queen Elsa in attendance for photos, arts, crafts, face painting, amusement rides, clowns, a petting zoo, classic car show, and live entertainment on two stages, along with a BBQ plate sale at the Fire Department.
Lindsey Herring, Miss Bladenboro will be the Parade Marshall. Entertainment under the Main Tent at Goldston’s Beach will feature, Blackwater Rhythm & Blues Band at 11 am. The Loose Canons will follow at noon under the same tent with live entertainment. Then, starting at 1 pm Bryan Mayer will perform followed by The Generations and closing with the Southern Touch Band. According to Reba with Goldston’s Beach, the Red and White Grocery Store nor the Goldston’s Restaurant will be open this weekend, but the Sandwich Shop and the Dairy Queen will be open for business.
Lake side entertainment will be held on the Waterfront with Patricia Charlton, Gaddis Girls, “Elvis” Impersonator, and Gaddis Girls and Family. White Lake Water Festival 2015 and 2014 shirts will be on sale at the events. The festival will end with a dance Saturday night featuring Gary Lowder and the Smokin Hot at The Venue, located at 1498 White Lake Drive.
