The 40th annual White Lake Water Festival is still on go for this weekend. Tonight (Friday) Soul on the Beach will take to the stage at 6 p.m. at Goldston’s Beach. On Saturday, the festival continues with the parade beginning at 10 a.m.
“Our Water Festival Committee is hoping for a great weekend in spite of on and off showers to celebrate 40 years of the Water Festival,” said Elizabethtown-White Lake Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dawn Maynard.
The only events which have been cancelled are the Car Show and Tractor Pull which were scheduled to take place on Saturday on US 701 across form the Scotchman. All other events will go on as scheduled.
There are two covered stages which will be in use throughout the event and everyone is invited to come out and enjoy the festival.
