White Lake, the tourist attraction of Bladen County, has undergone much in the past year. Renovations, new businesses, grand openings, concerts, good times and good food have all taken place at the lake, and that is not the end of it.

The Grand Regal and Goldston’s Beach announced that the pier, arcade, Dairy Queen, putt-putt, the Glass Bottom, the motels and cottages, The Landing Place restaurant, The Dive Sandwich Shop, The Wake Shop, and the Lake Store all plan to be open all year long. Camp Clearwater, Ski Burger, and Rondaveu Pizzeria have year-round plans as well.

Keith Presley, who runs several White Lake businesses, shared that the Wake Shop won’t just be a summer lake store. The Wake Shop will offer seasonal decor and apparel. Presley is especially excited for the “huge Christmas display.”

The Grand Regal has provided the area with activities and fun all through the summer, and will continue to do so throughout the upcoming fall season.

Presley stated, “We are excited about the transformations that have happened at the lake, and we are working on keeping the promises we made to the people of White Lake.”

Mayor Goldston Womble is also excited about making White Like an all-year attraction. He told BladenOnline, “We think this will be good for the town of White Lake and the Bladen County economy.”

In order to stay open year-round, these businesses need your support.
