A fire on Friday night in White Oak has left home with heavy smoke damage.

Bladen County Fire Marshal Kenneth Clark said there is minor fire damage and major smoke damage to the residence. The home is located at 12363 NC 53 Highway West, White Oak.

“The owner is currently staying with family members,” said Clark.

The fire remains under investigation, according to Clark.
