You’ve likely seen hummingbirds flitting around flowers and feeders. Blink an eye and the tiny birds are gone.

Henry Singletary has captured the beauty of a hummingbird feeding on a passion flower among his wild bird photographs that are on exhibit through July 28 in the Bladenboro Visual Arts Council gallery. The gallery is located in the Bladenboro Historical Society building at 818 South Main Strett.

The gallery and other rooms in the musuem are open Saturdays and Sundays from 2 until 4 p.m. Group visits may be arranged at other times by calling Singletary at (910) 648-4464.

Some of the photographs will be sold to benefit the art gallery and museum building.
