A windchill advisory is in effect for Bladen County from 3 a.m. until 10 a.m. Friday. Wind chill values are expected to reach into the single digits.
There is also the threat of black ice from melting snow forming overnight tonight as well. Temperatures are forecast to reach as low as 14 degrees. Motorists are urged to use caution when driving and allow extra travel time on Friday morning due to icy road conditions.
