Winnabow transmitter back online but not at full power

The National Weather Service office in Wilmington says the NOAA Weather Radio Winnabow transmitter is back online but is not operating at full power.  The original estimated time frame for repairs was reported to be 4 to 6 months.

The National Weather Service said that it could take several more months before the tower is operating at full power. With the tower not operating at full power, some residents could still have issues receiving alerts.
