The Elizabethtown Kiwanis club had their drawing for the Snapper lawn mower on July 2nd at 12 noon. The drawing was held at Thompson Small Engine Repair.
Mr. Wade Kinlaw from White Oak was the winning ticket holder. Mr. Kinlaw stated he had never won anything before and was excited about his prize.
The Elizabethtown Kiwanis would like to thank everyone who purchased a ticket for this drawing. The money raised goes right back into our community and the children of Bladen county. The Kiwanis offers scholarships each year to Bladen county high school seniors. This year the club gave four scholarships to local high school seniors.
The Elizabethtown Kiwanis also sponsors the Key Club at East Bladen High School, the Boy Scout Troop 622 of Dublin, and Terrific Kids at several county primary schools.
