A winter storm warning remains in effect for Bladen County until 4 p.m. Friday.

The warning was originally set to expire at 1 p.m. According to National Weather Service Meteorologist Steven Pfaff, temperatures will continue to warm slowly meaning that some areas in the region will remain at or below freezing a while longer.

Warnings/Advisories: Here are the following updates as of 1 p.m. EST.
1) Winter Storm Warning has been extended until 4 p.m. EST for Darlington, Dillon, Marlboro, Robeson, and Bladen Counties (primarily for the northwest half of Bladen County).
2) Freezing Rain Advisory has been extended until 4 p.m. EST for Florence and Marion County.
3) The Freezing Rain Advisory for inland Horry, Columbus, and inland Pender Counties was allowed to expire at 1 p.m. EST.
