A winter weather advisory has been issued for Bladen County beginning at 4 a.m. Wednesday and continuing until 7 p.m. The National Weather Service office in Wilmington forecasts Bladen County to receive up to one inch of snow accumulation.

Roads may become slippery as snow packs onto roadways, according to the National Weather Service. A rain snow mix is expected to begin by afternoon and change over to all snow by late afternoon to early evening.
