DUBLIN- East Bladen’s doubles team of Jayme LeeAnn Frady and Ting Lin qualified for the Class 2A women’s tennis regionals by finishing third in the Three Rivers Conference Doubles Tournament Thursday.
Frady & Lin won their first two matches in the tourney then after a semi-final loss rebounded to defeat the South Columbus team of Holt & Lewis to capture third place and secure the spot in the regionals.
It was the first time that East Bladen tennis has placed tennis players in the NCHSAA play-offs. The regionals will be played in Goldsboro on October 20.
