TABOR CITY – South Columbus captured the Three Rivers Conference women’s tennis championship with a 7-2 victory over West Bladen Saturday.

The Lady Stallions won the title with a 17-1 record while West Bladen dropped to 16-2 with the loss. The two teams split their two matches, but the Lady Knights dropped a match late in the season to third-place Whiteville that proved to be the difference.

West Bladen will now wait for the NCHSAA Class 2A team tennis pairings to be released.
