TABOR CITY – West Bladen swept all three doubles matches Tuesday to pull out a 5-4 victory over South Columbus and move into a first place tie with the Lady Stallions in the Three Rivers Conference women’s tennis standings.

The victory came in the completion of a match that was suspended by rain on September 14. The second match between the two schools was postponed by rain Tuesday and will be played later this week.

South Columbus #2 defeated S. Lee (WB) 6-4, 6-1
South Columbus #3 defeated H. Lopez (WB) 6-7, 6-1, 13-11 tiebreaker
A. Brisson (WB) defeated South Columbus #4 6-4, 4-6, 10-8 tiebreaker
South Columbus #5 defeated M. Sandoval (WB) 6-1, 6-4
A. Smith (WB) defeated South Columbus #6 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 tiebreaker

Coach Mary Catherine White’s Lady Knights are now 16-1 on the season.
