This morning, temperatures reached an exciting low of 60 degrees. It has been a hot, humid summer in Bladen County, and this cool front is certainly refreshing.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington issued a report of this weekend’s weather, and it is looking nice! With dry high pressure and low humidity, we will experience cooler temperatures and mostly sunny skies, making for a beautiful and comfortable Labor Day weekend.

According to the weather report, “For coastal areas, the rip risk will remain elevated today along New Hanover and Pender Beaches.”

There are no severe weather risks for the upcoming days at this time, so you can enjoy your long weekend with no worries.
