This past weekend Jeffrey Rogerson with WoodmenLife was caught again giving back to the community. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8062 has a facility on Hill Street in Elizabethtown.

The VFW building needed some fresh paint applied and some sprucing up in the flowerbeds.

Commander of Post 8062, Danny Gill, explained that the VFW members are making their facility a more youthful community building.

VFW member Veteran Bobby Ludlum said, “We’re trying to upgrade. I am also glad WoodmenLife is helping us a lot.”

VFW member Veteran Keith Ludlum added, “I’m just glad we’re restoring the place to good condition.”

Rogerson commented, “Woodman is a non-profit organization structured to help Veterans and First Responders. Helping restore the VFW is our way of giving back to the community.”

In August, Rogerson was seen around Elizabethtown passing out food items to local schools and delivering flags to the police department and the local park. He said, “This is why I chose Woodmen. Not only do I get to work for a great company, but I am also able to help my community.”

Rogerson delivered food items collected by WoodmenLife Chapter 262 to the following schools:

Bladen Lakes Primary
Elizabethtown Middle School
Elizabethtown Primary School
East Bladen High School
