The first annual Wyatt Fisher Benefit Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 14th, at the Gates Four Golf Course and Country Club in Fayetteville. Registration for the tournament will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. 

Cape Fear Valley Hospital employees, both current and past, of the Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Emergency Room organized the event as a tribute to both Julie Fisher, who served as a pediatric nurse and lost her fight with pancreatic caner in 2015. Her nephew, Wyatt Fisher, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia before his third birthday. He passed away on April 28, 2018. 

Family, friends and former co-workers have worked tirelessly to create the Wyatt Fisher Benefit Golf Tournament to assist the family of Wyatt Fisher. 

Entry fees are $75 single person/$300 per team and is Captain’s Choice. Sponsorships are also available. a Hole sponsor is $100 and a Corporate Sponsor is $500. 

There will be free refreshments, beverages, goody bags, green fees and golf carts will be provided. Lunch will be served prior to the start of the tournament. 

There will be prizes awarded for first, second and third place. Door prizes will be awarded the day of the tournament. There will be one red tee and two mulligans which can be purchased for $20 extra per person.
