Elizabethtown’s Zach Meares will play in the 2017 Top Gun Summer World Series that begins Friday in Tarboro. Zach will be playing with the NSA Select D1-14U team from St. Pauls.
The tournament is one of the largest World Series Events in the United States and features teams from all over NC and VA (115 teams total across 4 age groups). The tournament will continue through Sunday.
Zach’s first game is Friday at 10 a.m. at the Indian Lakes Sports Complex in Tarboro. Zach is the son of Anthony and Shannon Meares, and the grandson of Sammy and Vicky Mote and Bobbie Jean Meares.
