Lonnie Vance Taylor, Jr., 78 of Spartanburg, SC passed on June 27, 2024, while at Physical Rehabilitation and Wellness Center.
A longtime resident of Spartanburg, Lonnie retired from Aramark in 2010. Lonnie enjoyed traveling, especially cruising, building, and fiddling in his garage, and collecting old tools and items.
Lonne was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Vance Sr. and Alma Ruth Taylor, and sisters, Frances, Betty, and Ruth Inez. Surviving family includes his wife, Inez Hill Taylor, and son Troy F. Taylor of Spartanburg, South Carolina daughters Tanya Gash and Erin Taylor of Asheville, NC, and daughter Crystal Storms of Clarkton, NC, three sisters Rachel Johnson of Asheboro, NC, Mary Dowless of Dublin, NC and Catherine Taylor (Fussell) of North Carolina, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held by his immediate family and will be private.
