For the record … Thursday, June 20th is the 1st day of summer … also the date for the annual Bladen We Care Golf Tournament fundraiser at River Landing, Wallace, NC. Hopefully, the best ever … all for a good cause…
Now, where do I begin? (This may be the most successful fundraiser ever in this area) … The event has been sold out for several weeks … Proceeds go to worthy local projects … including, assistance for local folks experiencing unusual healthcare issues … (the original purpose of the event) … Added over the years, scholarships for Bladen residents … Nursing scholarships at Bladen Community College and UNC Pembroke … Several area based companies have “stepped up” with large donations, in addition to the area golfers … On behalf of all involved … Thanks To All For Your Assistance … Hope to see you Thursday … at River Landing near Wallace…
