Warm weather is here to stay awhile and with it comes the opportunity to get out a little bit. The following are five tips from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
- Drivers, slow down, and stay alert!
- Watch for pedestrians and bicyclists
Hot cars can be deadly for kids and pets. It’s dangerous and illegal to leave a child or pet in a locked car when temperatures soar. Car temps can escalate by more than 10° in just minutes, creating deadly conditions.
