Thursday night NFL action, Green Bay Packers 35 – Chicago Bears 14. Before the game, players on both teams locked arms as a symbol of unity, game was interrupted for 47 minutes due to lightning that was spotted just outside the stadium.
Tonight, high school football. West Columbus plays at East Bladen, West Bladen travels to South Robeson. Gametime for both games, 7 PM.

Congress and the administration are proposing a new tax plan that is suppose to reduce taxes for businesses and individuals. Big question is, how will the nation pay for the tax cut estimated to be $5,800,000,000,000 ($5.8 trillion). Guard your bank account and billfold. Trust me, somebody (some group or groups) is going to come up short. A majority of current office holders of the Senate, House and White House will be long gone when the final results are known.
