Still very few newcomers seeking a Bladen County political office. Filing deadline is February 28 for the May primary. The General Election is in early November. Most winners take office in December.
35 to 40 senior citizens, maybe more, were treated by young adults at Wesley’s Chapel UMC last night. Qualifications? Had to be 70 years old or older. A few care-takers were included. Very nice.
Flu still ongoing in Bladen County.
Warm weather yesterday, but high winds, gusts up to mid 20s at times. Cloudy and cooler today with highs in the mid 50s.
