The Compassionate Friends Border Belt Chapter, serving the parents of both Columbus and Bladen counties, is pleased to announce that starting in March 2018 it will hold a meeting on the First Friday of the month at the Bladen County Senior Center on West McKay Street in Elizabethtown.

The March meeting will be Friday, March 2, and begin at 3 p.m. Any adult who has experienced a loss of their child, grandchild or sibling is welcome to attend.
There are many special days that highlight our losses, remembering those who have left us with sad hearts. There is a better way to cope, we meet to share and understand our grief to and help each other. We invite and welcome anyone who is interested in attending.

Time has proven that with caring and sharing comes healing. We always focus on helping each other. Chapter members affirm that “When we get together, we help one another.” Together we find strength and solace. Together we discover that ‘We Do Not Walk Alone’. For more information, contact Jean Cross Burney at joanssister@hotmail.com or on Facebook.

We are a self help group for parents whose children have died- at any age, from any cause. Our group welcomes you. We’re here to listen and share.
