A Bladenboro family received news no parent ever wants to hear. This week Misty and Toby Lennon received the news, their son, Ayven Lennon, has cancer. Ayven’s is 5 years old and was diagnosed with Lymphocytic B-Cell Lymphoma and Leukemia.
According to a Go Fund Me set up for the family, Ayven will have a three year journey, which includes weekly trips to UNC childrens hospital for Chemo. The page has been set up by Andrea Dowless Heverly, to help the family with medical expenses and travel expenses. You may donate to their Go Fund Me page by visiting, http://www.gofundme.
A t-shirt fundraiser has also been organized to assist the Lennon family with their expenses. T-shirts are $15 with sizes from Youth X-Small to Adult 3X. All proceeds raised with the fundraisers will be given to the Lennon family. The organizers of these fundraisers are also asking for continued prayers for Ayven.
