Bladen County has camps for children this summer. The Bladen County Recreation Department is offering the Healthy Bladen Kids Summer Recreation Program and Bladen Community College is also offer camps.
The Bladen County Recreation Department is offering the Healthy Bladen Kids Summer Recreation Program for ages 6 through 14. The four-week program will be held at five sites in Bladen County on Mondays through Thursdays beginning Monday, June 24. The program is free and snacks are offered each day.
Here are the sites and times for each facility.
East Arcadia: 1-5 p.m.
Tar Heel Middle School: 9 a.m.-noon
Clarkton School of Discovery: 9 a.m.-noon
Bladenboro Middle School: 9 a.m.-noon
King Street Gym in Elizabethtown: 9 a.m.-noon
Participants must be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian each day.

Bladen Community College has many opportunities for your camper to learn, express, create, and build on their already growing personalities. Why not use the summer to let your camper brush up on their math skills, explore career areas of interest or discover their creative talents in a performing arts or art camps.
They are all available at our STEM’ for the future Summer Camp, right here at Bladen Community College, for a very affordable price. The camp prices range from $30-$70 depending on which camp your student is interested in taking.
Bladen Community College STEM summer camp is geared toward rising 3rd through 9th graders. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for your camper at no extra cost. Registration is going on now, so do not miss your opportunity to get in on these fun and exciting camps. Bladen Community College can offer these self-supporting courses only during the summer, so take advantage of these enjoyable, inexpensive learning opportunities for your child. We have included a $1.00 fee for campers insurance while they are attending our STEM Camp.
