Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

The first of many springtime/summertime holidays is over … obvious coronavirus was on the minds of many, no concern for some … from one extreme to the other … Kinda like the political situation we find ourselves in…

Obvious, traffic was less this year at White Lake. White Lake Water Festival postponed to a later date…

We (my bride and I) enjoyed time with our small family … that is always a fun time.

NASCAR events continued last night … Infinity race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway…
Results:
Winner was Kyle Busch (overtime)
2nd place…Daniel Hemric
3rd place….Austin Cindrac
4th place….Ross Chastain
5th place…,Justin Allgaier

Tonight, trucks run at the same speedway…

Enjoy listening to folks in various businesses discuss their trade. Had not thought about a shortage of new vehicles … many plants in various stages of operation … listen as some in the business talked about dealers concerned about their dwindling inventory.

Another in the building business talking about the traffic at many businesses such as building supply providers, especially the national chains … hopefully at the local level as well…

One other topic, by some in the building business … a lack of new homes, maybe more so in the urban areas … not sure if that is the same in rural areas…

All in all, good few days away … but, happy to be ‘back in a daily routine.’

“I’m skeptical of anyone who tells me they do yoga every day. That’s a bit of a stretch.”

“Money can’t buy you happiness? Well, check this out, I bought myself a Happy Meal!”

“It’s never a good idea to keep both feet firmly on the ground. You’ll have trouble putting on your pants.”
