Wonder how much longer we will be in limbo due to COVID-19?

As of noontime Sunday, the number of cases in the state was 52,801. That was an increase of 1,412 confirmed in the previous 24 hours. State officials said, as of Sunday, 845 people were hospitalized for treatment of COVID-19 (with 74% of hospitals reporting). That was 38 fewer than Saturday.

Across the US, according to the most recent update from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the United States and its territories had recorded more than 2.24 million confirmed and probable cases as of Sunday afternoon. The number of cases increased by 32,411 from the previous day. The CDC on Sunday reported 119,615 total U.S. deaths from COVID-19, a one day increase of 560 deaths.

Latest stats for Bladen County was as of Friday, June 16 … 132 confirmed cases, 89 recovered and 2 deaths…

We apparently are a long way from returning to normal … Use caution … COVID-19 is a killer disease.

Not a good way to begin a new week … not attempting to frighten, just the facts…
