Thoughts While Shaving

Just when you think we are on the verge of a COVID-19 recovery, another outbreak of ‘bad news’ … Nursing homes, local schools, colleges, all around us … Many still not convinced it is as bad as advertised. To each his/her own … I am from the school of thinking that it will take medication to ‘wipe it out’. In the meantime, many are struggling … individuals and businesses, large and small.

It was windy and wet yesterday in our area … Forecast for this Sunday … Mostly sunny, with a high in the low 90s. Partly cloudy tonight, with a low around 73. Expect a light breeze today and tonight. Tomorrow, (Monday), a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 a.m. Partly sunny with a high near 88, east wind 5 to 9 mph and a 30% chance of rain. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Church time … local churches in all stages of a return to normal … most with some form of service, including the internet … some back in the sanctuary, some in other locations, including multi-purpose facilities where there is room for all, with as much space as is needed. No shortage of places to worship or types of services … guess I am prejudice toward the traditional form of worship, but to each his/her own.

Visited White Lake for a while yesterday, on return home there was a parade of blue lights headed toward the lake … Understand there was a wreck near the old Wam Squam location, and electricity was out for a while … in the area…
