Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

I hardly know where to begin … BladenOnline’s website has been compromised … in everyday language, it’s not working as it should … and the folks who are contracted with to keep it online apparently are having difficulty restoring … What I do know, having owned the site the first 6 years, it’s very difficult to deal with … But, sooner or later, it will be corrected … The folks at GoDaddy.com located at some far-a-way place, are the providers … This too shall pass…

With that said … a reminder that Saturday morning, ’bout 9 a.m., former East Bladen football coach Bob Lewis, now retired, will be at Leinwands for a book signing … a new book the ole football coach has written about his coaching days will be on sale … He began his ‘head coaching’ career at East Bladen … Understand he will be on-site for an hour or so…

Changing the topic … Just in case you were not aware of it … we are in the final months, final weeks, days of a political campaign … With that in mind … question???? … do not have to answer ‘out loud’, but, which ad is most appealing to you? … realizing that will most likely be determined by your political persuasion … What about the most annoying? (biggest turn-off?) No right or wrong answer…

And, one more reminder….former West Bladen football star Brandon Council is expected to start on the offensive line for No. 8 ranked Auburn U, Saturday. Gametime is 12 noon, versus #23 Kentucky.

Love fall of the year … wish this was a normal fall season … But, these difficult times will be a ‘never to be forgotten’ memory … soon I hope.

“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” F. Scott Fitzgerald

“The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let the dead things go.” Unknown

“Anyone who thinks fallen leaves are dead has never watched them dancing on a windy day.” Shira Tamir
